Some Things to Consider When Ordering

Our minimum order amount is $50.00. We lose money on shipping and packing if you order less than that. We ship to all of the lower 48 except AZ, CA, CO, ID, NV, OR, UT, OR WA. That is a shame, since these are some of my favorite places, but those states just create too much drama when it comes to importing plants. We will ship to red states and blue states alike. If you are from a red state, however, let me precaution that you still have to mind your manners. We probably won't ship when it?s too hot, like June, July and August. If you want us to ship your order during those months, let us off the hook by typing something along the lines of "I want what I want and I want it now" in the comments box of your order. If the plants arrive dead or damaged beyond recovery, then let us know right away. We don't guarantee plants any more than the hospital guarantees babies. Like the maternity ward, our only goal is to release them healthy and whole. Everything else is up to you. (There's no coincidence that the word "nursery" applies to baby plants as well as baby people.) Remember, that if you choose to raise blue state babies in red states you may end up with something that doesn?t reach its potential. We ship by UPS - in our estimation, it is the lesser of evils. Shipping and handling costs COULD be between 30 and 40 percent of your order amount, depending on where it?s going and how it?s getting there. The mysteries of the market make this part as fun and as changeable as the Dow/Jones. We try to keep our plant prices reasonable and our plant selection exceptional to make ordering our plants worth the added costs of shipping. (But, if you?re this far along in the process, you?re probably a plant geek and already know how this works.) Lastly, if you have any problems, concerns, comments or criticisms about our site, our products or our service, please let us know. Keep in mind, however, that we are people and we feel and we won?t hear a word you say if you yell or are rude. Be nice.
